Dr Renza-Guren has always been very impressed with how well her students could express themselves in French. Three years ago, she decided that she wanted to find a way to showcase the creative works of her students so that others in the Highland Park community could also appreciate the fine writing skills of these students. In addition to poetry and free verse, artists and photographers were also invited to share their work. With the help of her students, an editorial staff was formed and the first French Literary magazine was launched in 2006. Now, 3 years later, she decided to go "green" with the magazine publication changing the format from print to electronic version. She is delighted to be part of the HPISD website because now the whole world can see, read, and enjoy the fine work produced by her students in French.
